Freebies: Slope Cards for Handwriting

7 March, 2011

Do you remember the slope cards they used to use in schools, for handwriting?  The card is just a series of parallel lines at the correct angle of slope for Australian Foundation Handwriting styles and D’Nealian handwriting.  You place the slope card under the page on which you are writing and the lines help to guide the slope of your letters. I thought it would be easy to find them online.  I was wrong.

Never fear, however.  Mark, my wonderful husband, made one for me the other night.  And we’re going to make it freely available for others to download, print and use.

Feel free to share the information but please link back to us rather than distributing the files yourselves.

Awesome work. Thank you. Have been talking about these with partner but we have never seen them. We grew up with them and I think we should still be using them. Needless to say I have printed yours and our daughter will be shown how to use them.
