Lunchbox Biscuits

Aunty Phyl’s Lunchbox Biscuits

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup plain flour
1cup sugar
3/4 cup coconut
2 TB powdered milk
1 TB golden syrup
1/2 cup margarine
1 1/2 tsp bi-carb
2 TB boiling water

Combine Rolled oats, flour, sugar, coconut & powdered milk

In saucepan melt butter and golden syrup, when melted add bi-carb and boiling water with butter mix.

Pour over dry ingredients, mix

Roll into balls on an oven tray, flatten with fork

Bake in moderate (180C) oven 12-15 mins
